We only collect data that is necessary for the purposes described below.

• Early-access email addresses. If you choose to join the early-access list, we collect your email address so we can notify you when the full WakeVan Power Plan launches.
• Calculator inputs and results. We store the answers you give in the Power Check (such as appliance choices, travel habits and power preferences) so we can show you a preliminary estimate and improve the product.
• Usage and analytics data. We collect anonymous or pseudonymous information about how visitors use the site, including page views, button clicks, calculator progress and traffic source information.
• Attribution data. Where available, we record UTM parameters, referrer URLs and landing pages to understand how people discover WakeVan.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with WakeVan Power Check. Google Analytics processes usage data such as pages visited, events triggered, device type and general location. We have configured our implementation so that email addresses and other personally identifiable information are not sent to Google Analytics.

Google operates as an independent data processor for this data. You can read more about how Google processes data in Google's Privacy Policy.

We use Supabase to store early-access email addresses, calculator session data and related attribution information securely. Supabase acts as a data processor for this data. Data is stored with access controls and row-level security policies that limit access to authorised systems only.

The database used by WakeVan Power Check is hosted in Supabase's AWS eu-west-1 region (Ireland), which is inside the European Economic Area. This applies to the primary database. Supporting infrastructure, administrative systems and subprocessors used by our providers may still involve processing outside the EEA, as described below.

• To provide the Power Check estimate. We process your calculator inputs to generate and display your preliminary power profile. Legal basis: performance of a service at your request.
• To manage the early-access list. We process your email address to send you updates about the WakeVan Power Plan and to honour the launch-price reservation. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To improve the product. We analyse aggregated, pseudonymous usage data to understand drop-off points, feature interest and product quality. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving our service, balanced against your privacy rights.
• To measure marketing effectiveness. We use attribution data to understand which traffic sources bring valuable visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring marketing performance.

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above. Exact retention periods are listed below where they have been finalised:

• Early-access email addresses: kept for a maximum of 24 months from collection, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
• Calculator session data: kept for a maximum of 14 months, unless there is a legitimate reason or legal obligation requiring a different period.
• Analytics data: retained according to the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics property, and then deleted or aggregated by Google.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run WakeVan Power Check:

• Supabase – database and backend infrastructure, including storage of early-access email addresses and calculator data.
• Google Analytics – website and calculator usage analytics, used only where analytics tracking is permitted and any required consent has been obtained.
• Lovable – the platform used to build, host and deploy this website. As part of serving the site, Lovable's hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as your IP address and browser request information.

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards documented by those providers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Supabase. Supabase's Data Processing Addendum incorporates the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) where required for international transfers of personal data. Where Aldabra OÜ acts as controller and Supabase acts as processor, the relevant controller-to-processor module of those clauses applies.
• Google Analytics. Google's applicable data protection terms provide mechanisms for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

Our primary database is located in Ireland, inside the EEA. That does not mean all personal data stays within the EEA: hosting, support, administrative and subprocessor activity carried out by our providers may still involve processing in other countries.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Delete your personal data in certain circumstances ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing in certain situations.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, such as early-access marketing emails.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details above. We will respond as quickly as possible and within the time limits required by law.

WakeVan Power Check uses Google Analytics cookies and similar technologies to understand usage. These are only set if you accept analytics in our cookie banner, and they do not collect email addresses or other personal identifiers that you enter into the calculator. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be communicated clearly.
